August 15, 2007 will be a day that lives on in infamy. Along with a fellow student and instructor/CGI employee, I was interviewed by Jim Conrad of Newcenter 5 about my completion of the Fast Track program (intense computer programming workforce training - 40 credits in 8 months). I have to say the best part of it was meeting Jim Conrad, the calming reporter voice you always hear but never see. He was a very down-to-earth person and an excellent reporter. I never imagined being so relaxed on a video interview! He's from Wise, VA and is dedicated to Community Colleges and keeping jobs in this area. He talked with us a lot about how mining is about the only option he had in Wise, which is a rollercoaster of a job; You never know how much money you'll be making year-to-year or when you'll have to relocate deeper into West Virginia mountains.
The report was an Education Focus aired 8/15/07 on the channel 5 6:00 news.

no but i knew it was [i]something[/i] because I got it from the symbols section of a font. It goes on some flag I believe but it fits in perfectly with Hypnos name (for obvious reasons)
